Melissa De Vries-Joseph (often credited as Melissa de Vries) is a South African actress, dancer, presenter, and producer from Cape Town. She studied at City Varsity and holds a Licentiate in Drama & Speech from Trinity College, London. Melissa is best known for her roles on shows like Arendsvlei and Mince Jou Hare, where she plays Frieda, a woman who quits her factory job to start a home hair salon. Aside from acting, she runs her own production company (MDV Productions), hosts her YouTube interview-series A Walk With Mel, and has starred in theatre productions like Kompoun.
