Biography

Adams Ibrahim Adebola, known professionally as VJ Adams, is a Nigerian media personality, video jockey, TV host, musician, and entrepreneur. He was born on May 5, 1988, in Ejigbo, Lagos State, and studied Civil Engineering at the University of Lagos before training in journalism at the BBC Academy. Adams first gained public attention as a contestant on the 2008 edition of Next Movie Star West Africa, which opened the door for his career in broadcasting. He went on to become a presenter on Soundcity TV, hosting music and entertainment shows and anchoring major red-carpet events. Beyond television, he has released music and worked with several Nigerian artists, expanding his reach as a performer. Adams has also developed projects in event hosting, fashion, and content production, reflecting his entrepreneurial drive. He remains a prominent figure in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, known for his versatility across media, music, and live events.
