Biography

Akume Akume is a Nigerian actor, musician, scriptwriter, stand-up comedian, master of ceremonies, and model from Benue State. Born in Makurdi as the firstborn of his family, he bears a striking resemblance to his father, which led his father to double his name rather than calling him Junior. He completed his primary and secondary education in Benue State before attending the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts in 1998. He has featured in over 19 Nigerian films and has built a multifaceted career across acting, music, comedy, and scriptwriting, becoming a familiar and versatile presence in Nollywood.
