Biography
Andy Boyo is a veteran Nigerian filmmaker who has built his reputation as a producer, director and industry patron. He has directed and produced several major Nollywood titles like House of Talents, Untamed, Spirit of Assassins, Fugitive, Reflections, and Destitute. He also co-wrote the scripts and composed most of the songs for House of Talents. Beyond making films, Boyo is a committed industry builder. He has invested in efforts to professionalise Nollywood and supports initiatives that shine light on emerging creative talent. He serves in leadership roles in several key organizations, including the Directors Guild of Nigeria, the Association of Movie Producers, and the Actors Guild of Nigeria. In 2022 he was inducted into the Coal City Film Festival Hall of Fame to recognise his contributions to the growth of the Nigerian film industry.
