Andy Samberg is a comedian, actor, writer, and musician who rose to fame as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (2005–2012), where he and his comedy trio The Lonely Island revolutionized the show with their "Digital Shorts" (like "Lazy Sunday" and "Dick in a Box"). He starred as Detective Jake Peralta in the hit sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine for eight seasons, winning a Golden Globe for the role. He has also starred in films like Hot Rod, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and Palm Springs. In animation, he voices Johnny in the Hotel Transylvania franchise and joins the Zootopia universe in 2025 as Pawbert Lynxley, the runt of a powerful lynx crime family.
