Catherine Kamau, popularly known as Kate Actress, is a celebrated Kenyan actress and media personality. She gained prominence for her role as Selina in the long-running TV series Mother-in-Law, which began airing in 2006. Her performance in Sue na Jonnie earned her the Best Lead Actress award at the 2017 Kalasha Awards. Kamau has also starred in films like Disconnect (2018) and Plan B (2019), receiving critical acclaim. Beyond acting, she is a successful entrepreneur, running the lip care brand House of Humba, and serves as a brand ambassador for Harpic Kenya and Nice & Lovely. In 2024, she was honored with the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) for her contributions to the film industry.
