Biography

Eric Adrian Bauza is a three-time Emmy-winning Canadian-American voice actor, comedian, and former animator widely regarded as the contemporary successor to the legendary "Man of a Thousand Voices," Mel Blanc. Born on December 7, 1979, in Scarborough, Ontario, he is of Filipino descent and has become a pivotal figure in modern animation. Growing up in the diverse Toronto suburb of Scarborough, Bauza was immersed in classic animation from an early age, influenced by his father’s and grandfather’s love for Looney Tunes. He often cites the Canadian children's show Mr. Dressup as a primary inspiration, noting that he would draw alongside the host during broadcasts to hone his creative skills Bauza attended Cardinal Newman Catholic High School and later graduated from Centennial College in 2000. His education focused on radio, film, and television production, providing a technical foundation that eventually supported his transition into the entertainment industry.
