Biography
Eyiyemi Afolayan is a Nigerian actress, singer, model and content creator. She comes from a family known in Nollywood; she’s the daughter of filmmaker and actor Kunle Afolayan and the granddaughter of legendary actor Adeyemi “Ade Love” Afolayan. Eyiyemi gained wide attention for her role as Princess Omowunmi in the Netflix film Aníkúlápó and its sequel series Aníkúlápó: Rise of the Spectre. She’s also building her presence off screen as a business owner with her own clothing brand and often shares creative content online. Eyiyemi is studying Mass Communication at Pan-Atlantic University, with plans to graduate in 2026, and has said she wants to grow into filmmaking as a career while balancing her education and acting projects. In 2023 she was nominated for Best Young/Promising Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
