Biography

Ida Brooke is a British actress and filmmaker who has rapidly ascended from supporting television roles to a central position in a global blockbuster franchise. A multifaceted creative, she began her career writing and directing short films (such as Stay on the Line) before making her mark in front of the camera. In mid-2025, Brooke was announced as a key cast member for Denis Villeneuve’s "Dune: Part Three" (scheduled for release on December 18, 2026). She will play Ghanima Atreides, the twin daughter of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya). Starring opposite Nakoa-Wolf Momoa (who plays her twin brother, Leto II), Brooke’s role is pivotal to the film’s conclusion, which adapts the events of Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah. Prior to this breakout casting, she gained recognition among sci-fi fans for her recurring role in the Apple TV+ dystopian hit "Silo" (2023–2025). She played Young Shirley Campbell, the flashback version of the character played by Remmie Milner, establishing a connection with series lead Rebecca Ferguson before reuniting with her on the Dune set. Brooke also starred as Becks in the BBC's critically acclaimed adaptation of "The Primrose Railway Children" (2024), a role that showcased her ability to lead a classic British drama ensemble.
