Biography

Ivan Abrahams is a veteran South African actor, director, and theatre practitioner with a rich career spanning both stage and screen. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cape Town and received formal theatre training through the British Theatre Association. On television, he’s appeared in shows such as Orion, Generations, The Game, Heartlines, and Forced Love. His theatrical credits include performances in Shakespeare’s King Lear and Macbeth, and other classics like A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Antony and Cleopatra. Abrahams has also worked to develop community theatre and has been a long-time adjudicator at theatre festivals.
