Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, popularly known as Jeriq, is a Nigerian indigenous rapper, singer, and songwriter who has taken the hip-hop scene by storm. Born and raised in Nkpor, Anambra State, Jeriq channels his challenging childhood into raw, authentic lyrics that explore street life, perseverance, and hustle. He began his music career at the age of fifteen and achieved breakthrough success in 2020 with his acclaimed EP, Hood Boy Dream. Steadily cementing his place in African music, Jeriq released his debut album, Billion Dollar Dream, in 2022, earning nominations at the prestigious Headies awards. Known for seamlessly fusing Igbo rap with modern trap beats, he has collaborated with industry giants like Phyno, Blaqbonez, Flavour, and Dremo. Balancing his rising stardom with academic pursuits, Jeriq graduated with a Computer Science degree, proving he is as sharp in intellect as he is on the microphone.
