Biography
Joséphine Kaboré is a pioneering Burkinabè actress and comedian. Before acting, she worked in postal and transport services, retiring early in 1986. Wikipedia Passionate about theatre, she joined the Radiophonic Theatrical Troupe in the early 1960s, working with notable filmmakers such as Augustin Taoko and Emmanuel Sanou. She has starred in classics like Buud Yam, Djarabi, Toungan, and Katanga, La danse des scorpions. In 2016, she was honored at the Journées Cinématographiques de la Femme Africaine de l’Image and made a Knight of the National Order of Merit for Arts, Letters, and Communication in Burkina Faso
