Kudi Maradzika is a visionary Zimbabwean storyteller and media executive who has made a significant impact on the African entertainment landscape. A graduate of the University of Cape Town, she initially gained acclaim as an actress, earning an Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) nomination for Best Actress in 2006 for her lead role in Tanyaradzwa. She transitioned behind the camera, working as a commissioning editor for Paramount Africa (MTV, BET, Comedy Central) before founding her own production company, Lincoln Green Media. In 2021, she was selected for the prestigious Realness Institute x Netflix Episodic Lab. This partnership led to the creation of Bad Influencer, a Netflix Original crime drama released in 2025. As the show's creator, head writer, and executive producer, Maradzika crafted a hit series that explored the dark intersection of social media fame and organized crime in Johannesburg.
