Modise Motaung is a versatile South African actor and stunt performer whose career has been steadily rising through impactful supporting roles and commercial work. Born in Soshanguve and raised between there and Witbank, he discovered his passion for performance after his brother cast him in a lead role in a church play. He honed his craft in industrial theatre and commercials for major brands like DStv, Nedbank, and Carling Black Label before breaking into television. He has appeared in some of South Africa's most popular telenovelas, including The River and The Estate. In 2025, he landed a key role in the Netflix crime drama Bad Influencer, where he plays Bheki, a small-time loan shark who becomes a dangerous obstacle for the show's protagonists, BK (Jo-Anne Reyneke) and Pinky (Cindy Mahlangu).
