Nolwazi Shange-Ngubeni, born on January 19, 1984, in Durban, South Africa, is a distinguished actress and casting director. She pursued drama studies at the Durban University of Technology and holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications from the AAA School of Advertising. Shange-Ngubeni's acting career commenced with her role as Precious in the second season of the SABC1 drama series "A Place Called Home" (2008–2009), a performance that earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA). She further showcased her versatility in productions such as "Intersexions," "Mzansi Love," "Thula's Vine," and "Scandal!", where she portrayed Mbali "Lady M" Kubeka from 2021 to 2023. Beyond acting, Shange-Ngubeni has made significant contributions as a casting director, lending her expertise to projects like "Nothing for Mahala," "AboMama," "Rhythm City," and "MTV Shuga." She also serves as a TikTok Music Partnerships Manager, reflecting her multifaceted involvement in the entertainment industry.In her personal life, she married fellow actor and producer Mzwandile Ngubeni in 2017, and together they have two children.
