Nonso Ekemezie is a compelling Nigerian actor and creative who is rapidly earning a reputation for delivering deeply authentic and emotionally resonant performances in Nollywood. He first captured widespread critical acclaim for his raw and vulnerable portrayal of Feranmi in the groundbreaking short film Tì ẹ Ńbọ̀ (2023). The project, which explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the realities of conversion therapy, made major waves at the 12th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) and Belgium's prestigious Afrika Film Festival. Demonstrating notable range, Ekemezie has also starred as Ahmed in the award-winning drama The Delectable Azeezah Sama and appeared in the narrative film Push and Start (2025).
