Biography
Seun Arowojolu is a Nigerian filmmaker, writer, producer, and director. A graduate of Film Arts from the National Film Institute Jos, he began his career in 2007 producing and directing Jrock, a tourism and entertainment TV programme that aired on Silverbird TV Jos, ITV Abuja, and BCOS Ibadan. He also directed and produced the short film Helpless Fate, which screened alongside Tunde Kelani's Arugba as Nigeria's top film entries at the 2009 Durban International Film Festival in South Africa. In 2012 he created, produced, directed, and wrote Squatterz, a comedy TV series following three young adults squatting in a friend's Lagos apartment. The series aired on Africa Magic, EbonyLife TV, GHone Ghana, TV3 Ghana, ONTV, and Galaxy TV, earning Arowojolu a nomination for Best Comedy Writer at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. He went on to direct 26 episodes of Legal Clinic, a prime legal TV series on ONTV commissioned by media mogul Tajuddeen Adepetu. He also directed episodes of Sepkat Tepe for Samanyaolu TV in Istanbul, Turkey, and the series World of Mysteries for Ebru TV Kenya. He is the founder and Executive Creative Director of ContentGram Studios Africa.
