Biography

Seun Oloketuyi is a prominent Nigerian filmmaker, producer, celebrity journalist, and blogger, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Nollywood industry. He is the visionary founder and former Chief Executive Officer of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, a celebrated platform he successfully led for 15 years, starting in December 2009. Through BON Awards, Oloketuyi established a crucial platform that honors hard work and consistency in the Nigerian film industry, fostering connections and serving as a vital creative hub. His directorial and production credits include his debut film Blogger's Wife, as well as Lockdown Love and Awujale (The Biopic). In recognition of his enduring impact on Nollywood and the broader African creative landscape, Oloketuyi was recently appointed to the advisory board of the Kaduna International Film Festival (KIFF). He is committed to leveraging his extensive experience to celebrate Nigeria's rich cultural heritage, empower young creatives, and further strengthen the film industry both within Nigeria and globally. He is also the publisher of Best of Nollywood magazine.
