Vanessa Kanu is a seasoned Nigerian screenwriter and finance executive with a dynamic cross-industry career. She gained recognition for her creative contributions to high-profile film and animation projects including the Netflix series MAMA K’S TEAM 4 and The Weekend (2024) Alongside her creative pursuits, Kanu has built a distinguished finance career. She previously served as CFO of Mitel Networks, was honored as CFO of the Year by the Ottawa Business Journal, and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President & CFO at AptarGroup, Inc., while sitting on the board of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation
