Zilly Tete

Biography

Zilly Tete is a Nigerian creative entrepreneur and film-maker whose journey started from the Niger Delta region (Andoni, Rivers State) and moved into Nollywood. She conceptualised The Mangrove House, a production/empowerment initiative aimed at youth in the Niger Delta, and later expanded into feature films. She’s credited with having acted in approximately fifty movies and has produced feature-length films including A Step Too Far (2017) and Tomorrow Can Wait (2018). In addition to filmmaking, she is active in business (car importing/sales) and humanitarian activities in her region—making her profile blend creative and civic aspects.
