Biography

Jake Curran is a British character actor known for his unique, often eccentric or menacing supporting roles in fantasy and horror cinema. He first gained recognition as Bernard (the transmuted goat-boy) in Matthew Vaughn's fantasy hit "Stardust" (2007) and has since appeared in major franchises like The Maze Runner. In 2026, he joins the DC Universe in the horror-thriller "Clayface" (September 2026). He plays a character identified as Patches. Given the film's setting in the gritty underworld of Gotham and the tragic life of actor Matt Hagen, "Patches" is rumored to be a fellow criminal or a figure from the carnival/freak show circuit that often accompanies Clayface's origin stories. He is also currently appearing in the MGM+ historical action series "Robin Hood", which premiered in late 2025. He plays Alwin, a member of the Merry Men alongside Sean Bean's Sheriff of Nottingham.
